Hurricane Community Rebuilding Grant Guidelines


The Miami Dolphins is committed to the long term recovery of areas devastated by Hurricane Irma. The Miami Dolphins would like to support local nonprofit organizations implementing projects geared to the recovery of devastated areas. We invite you to submit a project or programming proposal for funding that will assist in recovery efforts. Maximum funding request is $25,000. This is a one-time, non-renewable grant.

Grant Guidelines

1.    Application deadline March 15 by 11:59 pm EST. No late submissions will be reviewed or accepted.
2.    Must be nonprofit organization operating in a Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe Collier, or Lee counties.

Grant Submission Requirements

Please compile the following documents and save them as individual documents. You will need to upload all of these documents separately throughout the application process. Here is a checklist of the documents you will need to upload when submitting your application:

1.    Mission of nonprofit
2.    IRS 501-c-3 designation letter
3.    Project/Program description and mission
4.    Measurable goals and objectives for the project/program
5.    Project/program budget
6.    Explanation of how fund will be used.

Grant Application  Review Process

Applications open: February 12, 2018
Applications close: March 15, 2018
Application review: thru April 2018
Award announcement: April 15, 2018
