Dolphins Seleccionan a un Gator con 104

Linebacker veloz le a añade profunidad a la defensa.


El tercer y último día del NFL Draft 2013 comenzó rápidamente para los Miami Dolphins con dos de las primeras nueve selecciones de la cuarta ronda.

Con la primera selección de la cuarta ronda, la número 104 global, los Dolphins se quedaron en el estado de la Florida, escogiendo a Jelani Jenkins, un linebacker de afuera, que mide 6-0 con 243 libras, de la Universidad de Florida.

El Gator produjo cuando estuvo en el terreno, sin embargo, lucho con lesiones en 2012, sufriendo una fractura a un dedo pulgar, una fractura al pie derecho, y problemas con lo corva. Jenkins es sumamente inteligente con buena reacción y rapidez hacia la acción. Su velocidad le permite cubrir bastante terreno, de banda a banda, lo cual le permite marcar a los tight ends atléticos de la NFL.
