Dolphins Seleccionan a un TE

El tight end grande puede bloquear y darle un buen blanco a Tannehill.


La segunda de dos selecciones al principio de la cuarta ronda del draft fue para seleccionar a un jugador al lado ofensivo del balón, que juega en la línea ofensiva, pero puede tocar el ovoide.

Con la selección número nuevo de la cuarta ronda, la 106 global, los Miami Dolphins escogieron al tight end de Michigan State, Dion Sims. Con 6-4, 262 libras, este joven de 22 años lo proveerá un blanco grande y seguro por el medio a Ryan Tannehill y está proyectado a ser un sólido segundo tight end que puede ayudar a mantener las cadenas en movimiento y el tiempo de posesión en el reloj.

Sims corrió las 40 yardas en 4.75 segundos y logró 22 repeticiones de 225 libras en la banca horizontal. Con la partida de Anthony Fasano por la agencia libre, Sims tendrá la oportunidad de competir cuando comience el mini campamento de los novatos.
