The 13th overall selection in the 2016 NFL draft, Tunsil started 14 games for the Dolphins during the regular season.
Pro Bowl offensive lineman had signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins, which included a move from left tackle, the position he had played his entire career, to right guard to fill a void on Miami’s offensive line.
The Pro Bowl safety’s season officially ended Oct. 19 when he was put on IR because of a shoulder injury, but he was always out at practice and making sure guys were competing and giving it everything they had.
Service projects included reconstructing the playground, painting school-wide murals, constructing and raising a Peace Pole and recreating the school garden.
Defensive tackle was named to the initial AFC Pro Bowl roster and to The Associated Press All-Pro second team.
