Carpenter Inactive For First Time In His Career

Posted Nov 20, 2011

As expected following the signing of kicker Shayne Graham yesterday, kicker Dan Carpenter leads the list of inactives for the Dolphins.

This will be the first game Carpenter has missed in his career after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2008. He had a streak of 57 consecutive starts going.

Running back Steve Slaton, linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis, center Ryan Cook, offensive tackle Will Barker, defensive tackle Tony McDaniel and tight end Will Yeatman joined Carpenter on the inactives.

Buffalo also is without its regular kicker in Rian Lindell, who joins cornerback Reggie Corner, strong safety George Wilson, strong safety Josh Nesbitt, left tackle Demetrius Bell, tight end Lee Smith and defensive end Kyle Moore. Da’Norris Searcy will start for Wilson and Chris Hairston gets the start for Bell.
