Dolphins Awarded Binns Off Waivers; Waive Coe

Dolphins make roster moves.

The Miami Dolphins have been awarded wide receiver Armon Binns (from Cincinnati) off waivers. To make room on their roster for Binns, the team waived cornerback Michael Coe.

The 6-3, 209-pound Binns joins Miami from the Cincinnati Bengals where he saw action in eight games during the 2012 campaign and recorded 18 catches for 210 yards and one touchdown. Binns joined the Bengals as a member of their practice squad on September 20, 2011 and was elevated to the active roster for their 2011 season finale and Wild Card Playoff game. He originally entered the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent following the 2011 NFL Draft.

Binns, was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at the University of Cincinnati (2007-10). He totaled 138 catches for 2,311 yards and 21 touchdowns during his career with the Bearcats. Born September 8, 1989 in Pasadena, CA, Binns attended Pasadena (CA) High School.
