The Blitz allowed local children to experience hands-on football drills while participating in other extracurricular activities associated with the Miami Dolphins, such as the Dolphins Quarterback Toss, corn hole and two interactive football drills.

“We had another outstanding Dolphins Blitz this weekend,” Dolphins Youth Programs Coordinator Troy Drayton said. “The kids had an awesome time, and it says a lot that we can impact kids all over South Florida with this event.”

The Blitz also featured appearances from four Miami Dolphins alumni, including Deon Dyer, Donald Brown, Bryant Salter and Charles Bennett who took pictures and signed autographs with fans.

The Dolphins will travel to a new youth football team’s home park each weekend in order to benefit the community and promote youth football.

The Miami Dolphins Youth Programs’ mission is to emphasize the importance of education, physical fitness and positive choices for kids in a safe and fun environment. The Miami Dolphins Youth Programs’ vision is to prepare the next generation of leaders in staying physically active through the Junior Training Camps (JTC), Youth Football Clinics and Youth Football Camps.
