Jets loss to Buffalo gives Miami highest finish since 2008.
FOXBORO, Mass. – A little less than an hour before kickoff at Gillette Stadium against the New England Patriots, the Miami Dolphins learned that they had clinched second place in the AFC East.
When the New York Jets lost to the Buffalo Bills, 28-9, to end their season at 6-10 it meant that Miami was assured of its highest finish in the division since winning the AFC East back in 2008.
Now that the division standings have been finalized, so has the Dolphins’ home and away schedule for next season.
Miami will host the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.
They will travel to Buffalo, New England, New York, the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts.
