“We had a great opportunity to teach over 400 young men and women in the game of football and cheerleading in camp this week, said Twan Russell, Director of Youth and Community Programs. “It’s always exciting to us when lives are impacted through the game of football. Kids are learning football and cheerleading, but more importantly learning to be Dol-Fit (Education, Physical, and Positive Choices). The word of the camp is greatest and we make sure that when these young men and women leave us there is no doubt how their lives can be great. I hope these campers take this message and utilize it in their everyday lives.”

The Dolphins continue to receive positive feedback through social media via Facebook. Many parents, guardians, and campers continue to express their feelings about the Miami Dolphins Summer Camp. Below are comments from parents:

“My son, Manny Reyes, attended both camps and all I can say is ‘WOW!’ Both experiences were AMAZING! My son has dreams to one day make it to the NFL and boy was this camp amazing for him. He learned so much and the coaches were fantastic. I will be bringing my son, Manny, who is only eight years old, to both camps (Stadium & Davie Camps) every year.”

“My son had a great experience at camp this week. Thank you for demonstrating greatness and expecting the same from everyone else.”

“To Coach Twan, greatness is earned, and you and your amazing staff delivered, a unique and unforgettable learning experience for our twins. Sydney and Zachary are already looking forward to being part of the Academy next year.”

The Miami Dolphins will host the third week of summer camp at two locations: Estero High School and Felix Varela High School.

The following are the upcoming locations and dates of the summer camps being held throughout South Florida and Southwest Florida:
