Dolphins Host Martin On Free Agent Visit

Defensive end played with Chargers for four seasons.

The Dolphins today welcomed unrestricted free agent defensive end Vaughn Martin for a visit at the team's training facility.

Martin, who was born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto and London, Ontario, Canada, was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft, becoming the first Canadian university football player drafted by an NFL team as an underclassman. He played university football at the University of Western Ontario. In four seasons with San Diego, Martin recorded 78 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.
