The Dolphins today played host to a free agent visit from wide receiver Legedu Naanee (pronounced LEG-a-doo Nah-NAY). In his five NFL seasons, he played in 69 games with 20 starts and has caught 107 passes for 1,213 yards with four touchdowns.
Naanee, born September 16, 1983, played the 2011 season with the Carolina Panthers. He played 15 games with 10 starts and caught a career-high 44 passes for 467 yards and a touchdown.
Drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Naanee caught a TD pass in his first start of the 2010 season on a 59-yard pass from quarterback Philip Rivers in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Naanee played college football at Boise State.
