Team makes deal with Chargers to move down seven spots.
The Dolphins have never gone through an NFL draft without having made a trade involving one or more picks, and the streak will continue.
The Dolphins traded their second-round pick, the 50th overall, to the San Diego Chargers in exchange for the 57th overall selection as well as a fourth-round pick. The deal gives the Dolphins eight picks in the 2014 draft, one in each round along with two in the fourth.
The fourth-round selection acquired from San Diego reportedly is the 125th overall pick in the draft.
