Dolphins Players Visit North Dade Regional Library

Posted Mar 14, 2013

Players, Diane Philbin read to children at local library.

Miami Dolphins players Josh Kaddu, Rishard Matthews, Koa Misi and Olivier Vernon along with Diane Philbin, cheerleaders and T.D. visited North Dade Regional Library in Miami Gardens. The children in attendance enjoyed listening to each player read their favorite children’s book to the group. After the stories, the players, Mrs. Philbin and cheerleaders answered questions about school, reading and football.

The Miami Dolphins Foundation join forces with local libraries and schools in encouraging South Florida's youth to read by developing the Most Valuable Reader Program. This year-round initiative provides incentives for children to read. Kids have the chance to read books in exchange for the opportunity to attend a VIP Dolphins Training Camp experience or a Dolphins home game.
