Dolphins Sign Jonathan Martin

The Miami Dolphins have signed offensive tackle Jonathan Martin.

Martin was Miami’s second round selection (42nd overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Stanford University. A three-year starter for the Cardinal, Martin played in 39 career games with 37 starts. He earned first-team All-American honors and was a finalist for the Lombardi Award, given to the nation’s outstanding lineman in 2011.

Born August 19, 1989, Martin attended Harvard-Westlake School in North Hollywood, California, where he helped lead the team to an 8-4 record and a second round berth in the Southern Section/Del Ray League playoffs as a senior.
