Dolphins Sign Lamar Miller

The Miami Dolphins have signed running back Lamar Miller. Miller was Miami’s fourth-round selection (97th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.

A two-year letterman and one-year starter with the Hurricanes, Miller played in 23 career games with 13 starts. He recorded 335 carries for 1,918 yards (5.7 avg.) with 15 touchdowns and caught 28 passes for 181 yards (6.5 avg.) and one score. Miller also added 15 kickoff returns 376 yards (25.1 avg.) and a touchdown and three punt returns for 16 yards on (5.3 avg.). Born April 25, 1991 in Miami, FL, Miller attended Killian High School where he was a first team All-State selection as a senior. He led Miami-Dade in rushing with 217 carries for 1,749 yards and 22 touchdowns.
