This was the second week in a row the Dolphins had a blitz, and the blitzes will run through the entire youth football season.

The Blitz allowed local children to experience hands-on football drills while participating in other extracurricular activities associated with the Miami Dolphins, such as the Dolphins Fun Bounce & Quarterback Toss along with two interactive football drills.

“I really enjoy having these Blitzes because the children really love it,” Miami Dolphins Youth Programs Coordinator Troy Drayton said. “It’s a great way to promote youth football and it’s nice seeing the kids enjoy the activities we put on for them.”

The Blitz also featured appearances from four Miami Dolphins alumni, including Deon Dyer, Donald Brown, Lorenzo Hampton and Troy Stradford, who took pictures and signed autographs with fans.

The Dolphins will travel to a new youth football team’s home park each weekend in order to benefit the community and have some fun.

The Miami Dolphins Youth Programs’ mission is to emphasize the importance of education, physical fitness and positive choices for kids in a safe and fun environment. The Miami Dolphins Youth Programs’ vision is to prepare the next generation of leaders in staying physically active through the Junior Training Camps (JTC), Youth Football Clinics and Youth Football Camps.
