Olympians and Paralympians with Florida ties scheduled to attend Sunday’s festivities include Eric Alejandro (Track and Field), T’erea Brown (Track and Field), Paul Callahan (Sailing), Will Claye (Track and Field), Scott Danberg (Track and Field), Conor Dwyer (Swimming), Tyson Gay (Track and Field), Lacy Janson (Pole Vault), Tina Konyot (Equestrian), Carlos Leon (Track and Field), Danell Leyva (Gymnast), Ryan Lochte (Swimming), Tony McQuay (Track and Field), Donte Mickens (Goalball),Robin Prendes (Rowing), Christian Taylor (Track and Field), Anna Tunnecliffe (Sailing), Dee Dee Trotter (Track and Field), Peter Vanderkaay (Swimming), Kellie Wells (Track and Field), Lauryn Williams (Track and Field), Brittany Viola (Diving) and Justin Zook (swimming).
Additionally, the organization announced a host of special pregame festivities in conjunction with the NFL’s Hispanic Heritage Month events. The Dolphins and the NFL will honor Gloria and Emilio Estefan during the pregame ceremonies for their significant contributions to the local Hispanic community. As part of their recognition, a $3,000 donation will be made on their behalf to La Liga Contra el Cancer. Additionally, up and coming Miami born and raised singer, Sophi, will sing the National Anthem.
