Scott played college football at the University of Idaho, where he walked-on and redshirted his first year. He was a four-year starter for the Vandals (2000–03), starting in 46 games at weak side tackle.
Wheeler (born December 12, 1984 in Columbus, Georgia) played the last four seasons for Indianapolis. He was drafted by the Colts in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia Tech, where he was a two-time second-team All-ACC (2006-2007)
In 2000, Wheeler, a sophomore, helped lead Shaw High School (Georgia) to win the Georgia High School Association's AAAA Football State Championship As a senior, he was named as an Honorable Mention All-Region selection by PrepStar, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him as a first team Class AAAA All-State selection.
