Cornerback tied for the team lead with four interceptions while earning his second invitation to the Pro Bowl.

Brent Grimes’ tremendous first season in a Miami Dolphins uniform didn’t go unnoticed around the league.

The NFL Network began Saturday night its annual countdown of the top 100 players in the league, and Grimes came in at number 95.

After signing with the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent in March, Grimes tied for the team lead with four interceptions while earning his second invitation to the Pro Bowl.

Among the highlights in Grimes’ season were an interception in the end zone in the 24-20 victory at Indianapolis in Week 2 and his 93-yard interception return for a touchdown in the thrilling 22-20 overtime victory against the Cincinnati Bengals at Sun Life Stadium on Halloween night.

The Top 100 list is voted on by players.

Defensive end Cameron Wake came in at number 89 last year after coming in at number 63 in 2011.
