Head Coach Adam Gase, quarterback Jay Cutler, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh addressed the media at the Baptist Health South Florida at Nova Southeastern University on Tuesday.

Here were some of the comments that stood out, along with some perspective:

“His big thing is size and speed and being physical at the line of scrimmage. … I think it’s been a good learning process for him because he’s had to go through and go against so many different body types.” — Adam Gase talked about the development of rookie third-round pick Cordrea Tankersley.

— Adam Gase likes the continuity he has on offense.

“I’m just going to be prepared to go against Tampa’s offense, and that’s what I think everybody else is planning on doing.” — Ndamukong Suh’s sole focus this week has been preparing on the opponent.

— Ndamukong Suh is hoping to carry as heavy a workload as possible.

“I feel great. I think ‘Coach T’ (Defensive Line Coach Terrell Williams) did a great job for us older guys.” — Ndamukong Suh is ready for the start of the regular season.

“One of Coach Gase’s biggest things is when we step in this building – we step in between the lines – we’ve got to be where our feet are.” — Jarvis Landry relayed Adam Gase’s message to his players to focus on the task at hand.

— Jarvis Landry has liked what he’s seen from Jay Cutler over the past month.

“We kind of have everything up and we’ll play it by ear as we go.” — Jay Cutler says using some no-huddle is a part of the offense.

“I think the Dolphins organization does a great job of putting people in place to help, help these players in any way possible so they can concentrate on the field.” — Jay Cutler is impressed with the services provided by the Dolphins off the field so the players can stay focused on on-the-field issues as much as possible.
