Injury Report: Dolphins - Chargers

Posted Sep 15, 2017

Veteran linebacker Rey Maualuga’s debut with the Dolphins will have to wait.

Maualuga was ruled out Friday when the Dolphins released their final injury report of the week. Maualuga didn’t practice at all this week because of a hamstring injury.

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry appeared on the injury report Friday for the first time all week. He was listed as questionable and as a limited participant in practice.

The other three players on the injury report this week don’t have a game status designation, which means they will play.

Those three are center Mike Pouncey (knee), running back Jay Ajayi (knee) and cornerback/safety Walt Aikens (back).

The Chargers listed three players as out for the game Sunday, most notably starting cornerback Jason Verrett. He wasn’t on the first injury report of the week, but did not practice Thursday or Friday because of a knee injury.

Also listed as out were rookie first-round pick Mike Williams (back) and safety Rayshawn Jenkins (concussion/shoulder).

Defensive end Jerry Attaochu (hamstring), wide receiver Dontrelle Inman (groin) and tight end Sean McGrath (knee) were listed as questionable. All three of them were listed as full participants in practice Friday.

Guard Kenny Wiggins (ankle) also was a full participant and did not have a game status designation, meaning he’ll play.
