Posted Jan 9, 2013

Miami Dolphins Dade-Broward All-Star Game features standout high school student-athletes from both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The third annual Miami Dolphins Dade-Broward All-Star Game, presented by Under Armour and hosted by the Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) and the Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA), will take place Friday, January 11 from Sun Life Stadium. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $12 with advanced ticket sales available through the Miami Dolphins and local high schools in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. All proceeds from the game will be distributed between both counties to help support the funding of their football athletic programs. The Miami Dolphins have donated over $20,000 per year towards the Miami-Dade and Broward counties’ athletic programs through this game.

Miami-Dade leads the all-time series, 2-0, including last year’s 36-26 victory over Broward for the prestigious Superintendent’s Cup, awarded to the winning team.

The Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium continue to establish their selves as the top venue in the state for high school football action, having previously hosted high school football contests including St. Thomas High School v. Christopher Columbus High School, Miami Central High School v. Booker T. Washington High School, and Miami Central High School v. Miami Northwestern High School.

Under Armour has been the inaugural sponsor of the Miami Dolphins Dade-Broward All-Star Game.
