The Miami Dolphins Foundation will host its 21st annual Fins Weekend on May 19-20.

Proceeds from the event weekend, through the educational pillar of the Miami Dolphins Foundation, will benefit City Year Miami, an education-focused nonprofit organization that partners with public schools to help keep students on track to graduate.

The festivities begin early Friday morning with the Fins Weekend Golf Tournament. Threesomes have the opportunity to golf with a Miami Dolphins current or former player. After the golf tournament, participants can take part in the Fins Friday Night Party presented by South Florida Ford and Hook & Tackle. Guests will gather inside a tent at the Rickenbacker Marina to revel in music, local food vendors and the year’s largest gathering of players, coaches, alumni and cheerleaders.

Saturday morning kicks off the Fins Weekend Fishing Tournament, followed by a Weigh-In presented by Hooters South Florida and Fins Weekend Champions Celebration at Rickenbacker Marina.

Through the educational pillar of the Foundation, the Dolphins have made a commitment to help young people who are working to transform education in Miami Gardens through City Year Miami. The Miami Dolphins Foundation has committed to a four-year, $1 million partnership with City Year Miami, sponsoring programs at Miami Carol City and Miami Norland Senior high schools. The Dolphins are the first organization in the community to make this type of investment through City Year’s long-term impact campaign.
