The 4th Annual Miami Dolphins Miami Dade-Broward All-Star Game, presented by Under Armour and hosted by the Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) and the Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA), will take place Friday, January 10th at Sun Life Stadium. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The game will feature stand-out high school student-athletes from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, including players from prominent local high schools, such as Booker T. Washington and Miami Central.
Admission is $12 with advanced ticket sales available through the Miami Dolphins and local high schools in Miami-Dade and Broward County. All proceeds from the game will be distributed between both counties to help support the funding of their football athletic programs. The Miami Dolphins have donated more than $20,000 per year towards the Miami-Dade and Broward Counties’ athletic programs through this game.
Miami-Dade holds a 3-0 all-time series lead, highlighted by last year’s thrilling 27-20 double overtime victory against Broward for the prestigious Superintendent’s Cup, awarded to the winning team. Miami-Dade used a rushing touchdown by South Dade’s RB William Cortes to seal the game and give Miami-Dade its third consecutive victory.
The Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium continue to establish themselves as the top venue in the state for high school football action by previously hosting high school football contests including St. Thomas High School vs. Christopher Columbus High School, Miami Central High School vs. Booker T. Washington High School, and Miami Central High School v. Miami Northwestern High School.
