PREGAME NOTES: Fasano Cleared To Play; Other Notes

Posted Nov 25, 2012

Late week injury will not keep Fasano off the field.

Just as today’s picture perfect weather is no surprise for this time of the year, neither are the list of inactive players for the Miami Dolphins.

The biggest concern coming into the game was starting tight end Anthony Fasano, who first appeared on the injury report Friday with a hip injury. He was downgraded to questionable yesterday but after testing the hip early during warm-ups he was cleared to play.

Quarterback Pat Devlin, running back Lamar Miller, rookie linebacker Josh Kaddu, offensive tackle Will Yeatman, guard Ryan Durand and rookie tight ends Michael Egnew and Kyle Miller all are inactive for Miami.

For the Seahawks, cornerbacks Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell, guard J.R. Sweezy, offensive tackle Mike Person, defensive tackle Jaye Howard, defensive end Greg Scruggs and wide receiver Charly Martin are inactive.

##Former Dolphins safety Dick Anderson and former Dolphins wide receiver Nat Moore are serving as honorary captains for the coin toss. Anderson, of course, is representing the 1972 Undefeated Team.

##The South Florida Jubilee Chorus is performing the National Anthem with the national colors being presented by the Patrick Air Force Base Honor Guard.
