Veteran WR Gaffney the biggest surprise among inactives.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jabar Gaffney will be a spectator this time when he faces the Buffalo Bills as he was among the six inactives designated by Head Coach Joe Philbin.

Quarterback Pat Devlin, offensive tackle Will Yeatman, defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, rookie tight end Michael Egnew and tight end Jeron Mastrud joined Gaffney on the inactives. There were no changes to the starters on offense or defense, but rookie wide receiver Rishard Matthews will likely get the snaps previously set for Gaffney.

Injuries to two of Buffalo’s right defensive ends – Mark Anderson and Chris Kelsay – forced backup left defensive end Kyle Moore to move over to the right and get the start. Leodis McKelvin will start at left cornerback for Aaron Williams and C.J. Spiller is starting at running place of Fred Jackson.

Bills quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, outside linebacker Kirk Morrison and offensive tackle Thomas Welch joined Anderson, Kelsay, Williams and Jackson in the inactives.

## Miami couldn’t have asked for better weather under the lights at Ralph Wilson Stadium, despite the cool temperatures. It’s a clear night sky and there is a very slight breeze, compared the swirling winds that usually impact the visiting time this of year.

## In continuing with a growing trend, there are quite a few Dolphins jerseys milling about the stands. Not quite the large number that showed up against the New York Jets a few weeks ago in New Jersey but the representation is strong.
