PREGAME NOTES: No Surprises For Miami's Inactives; Other Notes

Posted Dec 2, 2012

Relatively healthy Dolphins leave little surprise among inactives.

While the injury report for the New England Patriots all week was thicker than the dictionary, only rookie fullback Jorvorskie Lane (knee) had any doubts surrounding his status this afternoon. He did enough during warm-ups to convince the coaching staff he can play.

So the seven inactive players for Miami are pretty much the same as they have been most of the season. Joining quarterback Pat Devlin are rookie tight ends Michael Egnew and Kyle Miller, safety Jonathon Amaya, tackle Will Yeatman, rookie linebacker Josh Kaddu and defensive tackle Kheeston Randall.

Meanwhile, the Patriots listed tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/hip), rookie defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle), guard Logan Mankins (ankle/calf), offensive lineman Mitch Petrus, tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, safety Derrick Martin and running back James Develin as inactive for the game.

## Former Dolphins linebackers Bob Brudzinski and John Offerdahl and former Dolphins safety Louis Oliver are the honorary captains today.

## Sheridene Burke is singing the National Anthem and there will be a flyover by the 75th Fighter Squadron Tiger Sharks of the 23rd Wing Flying Tigers from Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga.

## The United States Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team will be the halftime entertainment with the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders doing a pregame performance.
