Tannehill recovered from the left knee injury he suffered last week at the New York Jets to the satisfaction of Head Coach Joe Philbin and the training staff and will extend his streak of consecutive starts to eight. This will be a chance for the eighth overall pick to see how he measures up against the Colts’ Luck, the first overall pick of the draft.
According to NFL.com, today’s game will be the first-ever matchup between top 10 rookie quarterbacks whose teams have winning records. The Dolphins and the Colts are both 4-3 and are riding winning steaks of three games and two games, respectively.
