KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rookie center Mike Pouncey will start today on offense for the Dolphins after leaving last week’s game against the Giants with a neck injury. Ryan Cook will be his backup.

In a slight change from last week, Nolan Carroll has been given the start at right cornerback over rookie Jimmy Wilson in place of Vontae Davis, who was ruled out yesterday for non-injury reasons Tyrone Culver retains his starting job at free safety over Reshad Jones.

In addition to Davis, running back Steve Slaton, linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis, offensive tackle Will Barker, guard John Jerry, tight end Will Yeatman and defensive end Phillip Merling are inactive.

For the Chiefs, quarterback Ricky Stanzi, cornerback Javier Arenas, strong safety Jon McGraw, offensive tackle Steve Maneri, wide receiver Jerheme Urban and defensive linemen Brandon Blair and Jerrell Powe are inactive. Donald Washington starts at strong safety for McGraw.
