Posted Dec 11, 2017

Defensive tackle Davon Godchaux will be back in the lineup against the New England Patriots on Monday night.

The rookie from LSU was listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week Saturday.

Thomas in lineup: The other Dolphins player who was listed as questionable Saturday was safety Michael Thomas, and he also will be in uniform against New England.

Thomas will play despite not practicing all week because of a knee injury.

Tankersley out: Rookie cornerback Cordrea Tankersley will be inactive because of the ankle/shoulder injuries he sustained in the 35-9 victory against the Denver Broncos last Sunday.

Tankersley did not practice last week.

Derby, claimed off waivers from Denver a little less than two weeks ago, will be inactive for a second consecutive game. … Cornerback Torry McTyer will be back in the lineup after being inactive against Denver.

Inactive info: Along with Moore, Williams, Tankersley and Derby, the Dolphins inactives are defensive end Cameron Malveaux, and guards Isaac Asiata and Jermon Bushrod, who continues to nurse a foot injury.

Opponent info: The list of New England inactives includes former Dolphins running back Mike Gillislee, as well as DB Brandon King, LB David Harris, LB Kyle Van Noy, OL Marcus Cannon, OL Cole Croston and DL Trey Flowers.

This and that: Safety Reshad Jones will serve as game captain along with season captains Mike Pouncey, Kenny Stills, Ndamukong Suh, Cameron Wake and Michael Thomas. … The Dolphins will be wearing their throwback aqua jerseys with white pants.
