REPORTS: Bills Sign Charles Clay To Offer Sheet

Per multiple media reports, the Buffalo Bills have signed the Dolphins tight end to an offer sheet.

According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay has signed an offer sheet with the Buffalo Bills.

With Clay signing the offer sheet, the Dolphins can choose to either match the contract, or decline to match it. Per NFL rules, they have five days to make a decision. If the Dolphins decline, they will not receive compensation for Clay's departure.

Clay, 26, was Miami's sixth round pick, 174th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Tulsa. Through four seasons with the team, Clay has recorded 161 catches for 1,809 yards and 14 touchdowns.
