Ross Confirms New Team Logo For 2013

Dolphins logo to undergo first update since 1997.

While much of his conversation with South Florida media today focused on the direction of the Dolphins as a team, team owner Steve Ross also confirmed that the Dolphins will indeed have an updated visual identity in 2013.

"We will have a new logo," Ross said. "You'll have it by the draft. We're looking at it. Finalizing it. It's time for an update,"

The last time the Dolphins logo underwent a re-design was prior to the 1997 season.

No other details regarding the logo update were given at this time.
