Season Ticket Members were able to watch the team in action in both individual and team drills during close to a three-hour practice session. New and long-time Members new sat in the stands to see the new look of the 2014 Miami Dolphins.
Two such new Season Ticket Members are Sean and Kristen Clarke, who became Members this past offseason. The Clarkes have been big Dolfans for a while now, but the newly established Dolphins Membership Program helped them achieve their dream of becoming Season Ticket Members.
“I’ve been a fan my whole life, I’ve always wanted them and it was just the right place and the right time,” said Sean Clarke. “We were actually enticed to buy because of the extra perks.”
While at camp, the Clarkes were interested in watching the quarterback-wide receiver tandem of
“Definitely want to see Tannehill and Wallace hook up more during training camp and the season, said Clarke. “That’s what I’m looking most toward.”
Dolphins players also embraced the Season Ticket Members at practice, as they realize that these are the serious Dolfans who have been with them through the highs and the lows of each and every season.
“I love that the fans are here,” said Francis. “I’m glad that the fans are out here and get to enjoy good Dolphins football.”
The Dolphins Membership program doesn’t just give new season ticket a variety of perks and exclusive events to go to, but offers fans affordable prices to purchase season ticket packages at a multitude of rates.
Michael Moore, a Dolphins season ticket holder since 1970, is thankful for the new Membership season ticket program that the team has instituted, as it’s allowed a diehard fan like him to remain close to the team he loves despite falling on some tough times.
“They take good care of the season ticket holders,” said Moore. “I’ve been a season ticket holder for a long, long time. With the economy these days, it’s tough. It used to be they made you pay the whole thing up front, and at the time, jobs were good, the economy was good, and you could do that. Now, it’s tougher. I got laid off, I had to reinvent myself doing other things, and the way they do it now where you can pay it off in 6-7 months, I think it’s fantastic.
“You don’t have to pay the whole thing at once, they give you things, throw events for you, and they do things at the stadium for you. I think the Miami Dolphins organization is a great organization, and what they’re doing for the fans is great.”
