Slaton's First TD As A Dolphin Gives Miami Early 7-0 Lead

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Dolphins running back Steve Slaton capped off an efficient 66-yard scoring drive with his first touchdown in a Miami uniform with 4:10 left in the first quarter.

carried the ball three times inside the red zone after had done the bulk of the work running and catching on the 11-play drive. His first carry went for no gain, as did his second, but an unnecessary roughness penalty on New York’s Linval Joseph gave him a free chance from a half yard closer and he delivered.
