FinsWeekend sponsors have a night to remember mingling with Dolphins players and coaches.

With Fins Weekend less than one month away, the Miami Dolphins Foundation held the annual Sponsor party at Royal Pig Pub. The weekends’ sponsors enjoyed a night out mingling with Dolphins players and coaches. General Manager Jeff Ireland and Head Coach Joe Philbin attended the party along with several assistant coaches. Miami Dolphins players included Dan Carpenter, John Denney, Brandon Fields, Nate Garner, Jeff Fuller, Brian Hartline, Richie Incognito, Josh Kaddu, Jonathan Martin, Matt Moore, Jared Odrick, Julian Posey, Mike Pouncey, De’Andre Presley, Kheeston Randall, Lee Robinson, Austin Spitler, Jason Trusnik, Philip Wheeler, Jimmy Wilson and Will Yeatman.

Fins Weekend is a three-day extravaganza featuring an exciting weekend of golf, fishing and celebrities and kicks off Thursday, May 16, with the Celebrity Draw Party at Turnberry Isle Miami. The party will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and interactive games such as putting, chipping, pitch shot and sand shot for unique prizes.

On Friday, May 17, Dolphins players and alumni hit the green at Turnberry Isle Miami’s award-winning golf course in Aventura for the Fins Weekend Golf Tournament. Players will tee-off with a shotgun start followed by a luncheon to announce the winners. Later that evening, the popular Hook & Tackle Captain’s Party will take place at the Miami Beach Marina, which will feature a silent auction and entertainment.

On Saturday, May 18, amateur and professional anglers will meet at the Miami Beach Marina for the Miami Dolphins Foundation Fishing Tournament presented by the South Florida Chevy dealers. Participants will enjoy a day of offshore fishing accompanied by Dolphins players and alumni. In the afternoon, all fishing participants will get together for the Hooters Weigh-In. The first place finisher receives a flight on the team charter to a Dolphins road game. That evening, attendees gather for the Scott Financial/ HMY Yacht Sales Awards Ceremony to find out who walked away with the biggest catch. At the ceremony, major auction items include tickets for two (2) to the 2014 Super Bowl and a 21 foot Contender with a Mercury Engine.
