Tannehill’s Aces Help Beautify Veteran’s Home

Group teams with Dolphins players to make the home look like new.

Ryan and Lauren Tannehill were back out in the South Florida community with their Tannehill’s Aces, and this time they were taking part in a special project.

Brook Ehrenfried, a veteran who served as a Marine for eight years was in desperate need of beautification to the exterior of his home. Tannehill’s Aces teamed with Rebuilding Together to make sure that his home got the necessary repairs.

Shovels, rakes, bags of mulch and gloves were waiting for Tannehill’s Aces when they arrived and started with the day’s project. The groups weren’t without help as Miami Dolphins players Brian Hartline and Charles Clay were on hand to assist with the labor and heavy lifting.

It wasn’t long before the home’s exterior began to take on new life as flower beds gleamed with an eclectic mix of flowers, leaves and debris were removed from the yard and mulch lined the perimeter of the yard making the exterior like new.

“It’s a great opportunity for the kids to get involved with the community,” Ryan Tannehill said. “We do a lot of things to have fun with them. We take them to games, we took them to Sea World up in Orlando, but they also enjoy giving back. Now we are bringing them out to work in the yard a little and I think it’s a good well-rounded thing to have going for them.”
