Here are a few outtakes of what the Indianapolis Colts are saying about Sunday’s game:

“They’re doing an outstanding job and I think Coach Coyle has come out of one of the systems I respect the most in (Bengals defensive coordinator Mike) Zimmer. He’s doing a great job with that talent that he has and they fit the system well. They’re doing a great job, especially on third down, red zone and scoring defense, so they present a heck of a challenge and we just have to take our system and make sure we apply it perfectly to have a chance to win at home.” – Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians on Miami’s defense

“I think they have a great young offensive line with Jake Long and Mike Pouncey. I think Mike’s better than Maurkice, and make sure you tell Maurkice I said that. I’m sure Mike will, but they’ve got a nice young line, Reggie (Bush) is a home run hitter and the quarterback’s playing good and they’ve got a couple of solid wide receivers so there are pieces there. But when you build it off that running game with that offensive line, that’s a great place to start. They run a fast tempo offense like we do and it’s something that makes you play defense and you can’t get off the field. Once you get tired you’re stuck out there so it makes it hard to substitute and we’ve got to make sure our crowd’s loud enough that it’s hard to communicate.” – Arians on the challenges Miami’s offense poses to his defense

“We obviously saw each other at various functions and I always have enjoyed getting to know him and hanging out with him. Growing up in Houston I had a lot of buddies that went to Texas A&M and I know a bunch of guys that played with him. They always spoke highly of him and I saw why this offseason. He’s a great guy and obviously a great football player and a great quarterback so I’ve always had a very high impression of him.” – Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck on his familiarity with Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill

“He’s easy to notice and what a great football player he is and really what a strong defense overall. I think they’re close to tops in the league in the red zone and on third down and they do a great job of forcing fumbles. I think they play very solid football and it’s going to be a great challenge for us.” – Luck on Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake and the entire Miami defense
