(On his response to what
(On what he means by taken out of context)- “Maybe it was just one thing said and I meant it a totally different way. It was not me speaking directly towards Reggie (Bush) in any way. It was just anybody who would talk about their team like that. It was more based on their attitude and not talking to the person their selves.”
(On if he was just throwing the word back to Reggie Bush)- “Kind of, but I didn’t mean it like that. It was made like I was speaking directly to Reggie but I was just referring to any player’s attitude towards the whole situation.”
(On Reggie Bush and him talked about what he said)- “No, because I think the way he said it was taken out of context also. We’re together in this locker room. We know that we’re not doing very well right now and we know that there is outside influences that are trying to kind of us breaking us apart. But we’re not buying into that.”
(On if lapses are expected when there is pressure on a team)- “Oh yeah. Any minor thing anybody says is going to be magnified when you’re in this situation. It’s just the nature of this situation. You’re 0-6; everybody is on your back so anything you say that’s close to being borderline is taken out of context.”
(On if frustration with the record)- “Of course. You talk to any player in this league that’s 0-6 or anything and if they tell you they’re not frustrated they’re lying because it is frustrating, especially because we feel like we got a good team. Any player is going to be frustrated in that situation. If they’re not then something’s wrong.”
(On if it was done intentionally by the media to take it out of context)- “I don’t know if it’s done intentionally but all I’ll say is people are on our back which is to be expected. Any minor comment that is made is going to be thwarted toward how they want to say it. Maybe sometimes the media does it, maybe sometimes they don’t. I really can’t answer that."
