Dolphins Make Roster Move

The Dolphins sign offensive lineman from Cowboys' practice squad.

The Miami Dolphins have signed offensive lineman David Arkin off the Dallas Cowboys practice squad, the team announced.

The 6-5, 310-pound Arkin joins Miami’s roster after spending the past three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. In 2013 he was active for one game and inactive for six, he was released by the Cowboys on October 26, 2013 and signed to the team practice squad on October 29, 2013. He originally entered the NFL with Dallas as a fourth round pick (110th overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft

A four-year letterman at Missouri State (2007-10), he saw action at both right guard and left tackle for the Bears and earned All-MVFC honors each year. Born on October 7, 1987, Arkin attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School, in Wichita, Kansas.
