Fresh off winning “Artist to Watch” at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Austin Mahone will perform at halftime of Miami’s “Kids Kickoff” regular season home opener against the Atlanta Falcons on September 22 at Sun Life Stadium. As part of “Kids Kickoff”, the team is selling special $15 tickets for all youth ages 15 and under with the purchase of an adult ticket against the Falcons. Each youth ticket will receive a Dolphins Fathead and be able to redeem a free popcorn. The organization also announced that the home opener against Atlanta is quickly approaching a sellout with less than 3,000 seats available for the game.
Fans can also purchase tickets in the "Austin Mahone" section and get a free t-shirt, food and drink voucher and parking. This includes an opportunity to be selected to go on the field at halftime with Mahone. A total of 20 winners will take the field and join select Season Ticket Members in the "mosh pit" around the stage for the halftime performance. For additional information on the “Kids Kickoff” and the Austin Mahone promotion, fans can visit Dolphins.com/finskids or call 1-888-Fins-Tix.

At just 17 years old, singer/songwriter Mahone is poised for stardom with his new hit single, “What About Love” has gained over 19.5 million views on YouTube and can be heard on top radio stations around the nation. Austin is currently touring on Taylor Swift’s RED Tour. Mahone was one of a select few presenters at this year’s Billboard Music Awards where he presented “Best EDM Artist” alongside singer Kelly Rowland. He also opened at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards where he took home his first RDM award for the “Ultimate Breakout Star – Biggest Viral Artist”. Mahone first made his mark on the scene by selling out New York’s famed Best Buy Theater within minutes of on-sales, after releasing his single “Say You’re Just a Friend,” featuring Flo Rida. He continues his massive online presence with his latest music video for his original song, “Heart in My Hand,” which garnered more than 3 million views, following other viral successes like Mahone’s first original single, “11:11” and smash hit, “Say Somethin.”
Not only does he have a solid fan base, known as “Mahomies,” but the teen sensation is gaining a legion of loyal fans in the media as well. He’s hot on the press trail, appearing in Details Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Wall Street Journal, Live! With Kelly & Michael, Today Show, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, E! News, Extra, The Insider, VH1, and MTV. Mahone additionally has been featured on covers of J-14, Popstar!, M, Astro Girl, Quiz Fest and Twist.
