PRESS RELEASE: Dolphins Make Roster Moves

Miami signs veteran wide receiver.

The Miami Dolphins have signed wide receiver Marlon Moore, the team announced. To make room on the roster for Moore, the team waived wide receiver Ryan Spadola.

The 6-0, 190-pound Moore re-joins Miami’s roster after spending the first eight weeks of the 2013 season as a member of the San Francisco 49ers. He joined San Francisco after signing with the team on March 19, 2013. Moore appeared in six games for the 49ers, registering one reception for six yards and one rushing attempt for nine yards. He originally entered the NFL with Miami as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2010. Moore spent three seasons with the Dolphins appearing in 35 games with two starts, he recorded 13 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

A four-year letterman at Fresno State (2006-09), Moore caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Bulldogs. As a senior he hauled in 15 passes for 317 yards and a robust 21.1 yard average per catch. Born on September 3, 1987, Moore attended Natomas High School, in Sacramento, California.
