How does the contest work?

Fans vote for their selection of who they feel deserves the Game Ball of the Week. We will tabulate all the fan votes and post results. A winner will be selected at random from all entrants who voted for the Game Ball of the Week player. The winner will receive an Official NFL football autographed by the Game Ball of the Week player!

How do I play?

Watch the action on game day, then vote for the Player of the Game to win the Game Ball of the Week. All the players are listed in a table for you to select from. In this MiamiDolphins.com contest YOU pick the player of the game. You may only play once each week. At 10 a.m. EST following game day, fans can begin voting for the player of the game award. The voting will close at 8 a.m. EST the following Friday. Fans may wish to comment in the Endzone on-line forum or discuss in the Fan Club chat room. We will tally all the votes, then post the results for all to see. A winner will be selected at random from the selected entries.

In order to play, you'll need to sign up for a MiamiDolphins.com user ID, if you have not already obtained one from any of our previous games. If you registered before September 1, 1999, you may need to register again. We'll ask for your name and e-mail address. You must have an e-mail address in order to play. No email addresses will be sold or disclosed to any third parties. Please see our Privacy Statement for more details. Once you have registered, you'll receive a password to enter each time you play.

Game Ball of the Week Prizes and Legal Restrictions

Weekly Prizes
Each week the Miami Dolphins Ltd. will be award an autographed Official NFL football autographed by a player. The prize value of the football is $59. The value of the autograph is subject to interpretation.

Winner Selection
From all eligible entries received, the winners will be determined by a) selecting all entries who chose the player with the most votes b) randomly selecting a winner from the (a) list.

Odds of winning depends on the number of participants and their respective votes. Prizes are not transferable and no substitution of prizes is permitted except that Miami Dolphins Ltd. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value if a prize is unavailable.

Notification
The Weekly Winner will be notified by email within three (3) days after the date the winner is determined and must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within five (5) days following attempted notification. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. By accepting the prize, the winner and companion grant permission to the Miami Dolphins Ltd. to use their names and/or likenesses for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law, and agree to execute a written consent.

Eligibility
There is no registration fee. This game is open only to legal residents of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Void in Quebec and where otherwise prohibited by law. Employees of the Miami Dolphins Ltd., their distributors, divisions and subsidiaries, licensed retailers, their immediate families, and employees of the game promotional partners are not eligible. If prize is won by a minor, the parent or legal guardian of such minor must sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release and the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian. If you reside outside the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, or in a jurisdiction where the contest is otherwise void, you may play the game and have your place noted on the winners list however, you will not be eligible to win any prizes.

Terms
Game entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decision of the judges, which are final on all matters pertaining to this game. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All state and local taxes will be the sole responsibility of the prize winners. The Miami Dolphins Ltd., and participating promotional companies are not in any way responsible or liable for damage, loss or injury (including death) resulting from computer malfunctions, downloading problems, late, lost, or misdirected entries, or acceptance and use of the prizes. Winners and guests assume liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the game, or by any prize.
