Tom Keane
Defensive Backs Coach

Keane was an original member of the Miami Dolphins coach staff, having joined the team in 1966. He remained with the Dolphins through 1985. During his time in Miami, he also handled the Dolphins' special teams.

Keane played two years at West Virginia University after serving 20 months in the U.S. Navy. He was drafted by Los Angeles, where he played from 1948-51. He also played with the Dallas Texans (1952), Baltimore (1953-54) and the Chicago Cardinals (1955).

Keane also coached in the NFL with Chicago (1957-59) and Pittsburgh (1965). Tom Keane passed away in June, 2001.
