Career: Johnson played nine seasons for the Dolphins, intercepting 22 passes for 190 yards in 125 games. He holds the all-time record for most blocked kicks in a career with nine (six field goals, two punts, 1 PAT) and ranks second all-time with three blocked kicks in one season (1972 one field goal, two punts). His six blocked field goals ranks second all-time behind Lloyd Mumphord's seven, and his 47-yard return of a Tim Webster field goal vs. Green Bay (12/19/71) for a touchdown is second all-time behind a 51-yard touchdown return of a Gino Capelletti field goal by Lloyd Mumphord vs. Boston (12/6/70). Johnson's two career blocked punts is second all-time behind Tim Foley's three, and his two blocked punts in 1972 ties him with Foley and Marc Logan for most blocked punts in a season. Johnson tipped the pass that set in motion Dick Anderson's 62-yard touchdown interception in 1971 AFC Championship game vs. Baltimore. His most memorable game came against the New York Jets (10/19/75) when he intercepted Joe Namath three times and recovered a fumble in a 43-0 route.
