Don Schula Leadership Award

This award is given each year to a Miami Dolphins player who exhibits leadership on and off the field, as selected by Dolphin players. This award was re-named The Don Shula Leadership Award in 2005 to reflect the accomplishments of former Dolphins Head Coach Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history. Shula, inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997, coached for 26 seasons in Miami, and seven seasons in Baltimore, winning 328 games and two Super Bowl titles.
