Immediately following the morning meeting, he called his parents back in Beaverton, Ore., at 6:30 AM (PDT). “I was sitting there shaking,” Jeron said. “You don't want to act like you can't believe it because you should expect it. I was working hard. But at the same time you don't want to be egotistical. So, you just be happy and thankful for the opportunity they are giving you and what they see in you.”
