FINS FACT
Growing up in Kalispell, Montana, Lex had a unique way to miss defenders both on and off the field. He would constantly try to avoid Charlie, his German Shepherd, from nipping at his heels using techniques that he would use to great advantage on the football field. “You're riding a bike, he’d try to bite the tires. I’m out in the yard playing football, he’d try to bite my ankles," said Lex who joked that he developed his quick twitch and high stepping running style from the elusiveness he showed in evading Charlie.
