The Miami Dolphins organization is a results-based culture with heart. We are based out of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Hard Rock Stadium is a global entertainment destination and the home of the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, University of Miami football, Orange Bowl, 2026 CFP National Championship, FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Site, and a host of other world-class events including music festivals, concerts, and international soccer. It was designed to embrace all that South Florida has to offer while providing unparalleled live experiences.

Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium Summer Internship Program participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's success while receiving hands-on learning experience across business units including the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open, and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. Each intern will report to a manager within a specific department while also interacting with all departments within the organization. Program participants will be exposed to the organization's Senior Leadership Team, department-specific work, group project work, and South Florida based activities. Interns will also have the opportunity to live together in subsidized housing local to Hard Rock Stadium.

This is a paid internship and will run approximately 10 weeks during the Summer of 2024. Interns will be hired based on career interests, work and internship experience, academic coursework, and on the organization's departmental needs. Hiring departments may include:

  • Events and Entertainment
  • Finance (Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis)
  • Marketing (Brand Marketing, Creative)
  • Stadium and Campus Operations (Guest Experience; Health, Safety, and Environment; Operations Planning & Integration; Parking; Stadium Operations)
  • Strategy and Corporate Development*
  • Retail Operations
  • Ticket Operations

Please note that this list is not comprehensive. Final department placements are dependent on organizational need and the judgement of the Human Resources team following the conclusion of the hiring process.

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited undergraduate program and entering your final semester or academic year as of June 2024
  • *We are seeking high performing candidates currently enrolled in an MBA program to join our Strategy and Corporate Development department for the summer
  • Must be available to work at least 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday approximately between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. The program will run from end of May through early August 2024, and subsidized housing will be available.
  • Must submit a typed statement of interest (no more than one page double spaced) answering both of the following questions.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage strict deadlines and thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Self-motivated leader with a meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Availability to work during late nights, weekends, holidays, and events throughout the internship
  • Demonstrated discretion and respect for confidentiality
