Hurricane Relief Community Rebuilding Grant
The Miami Dolphins are committed to the long term recovery of areas devastated by Hurricane Irma. The Miami Dolphins would like to support local nonprofit organizations implementing projects geared to the recovery of devastated areas. We invite you to submit a project or programming proposal for funding that will assist in recovery efforts. Maximum funding request is $25,000. This is a one-time, non-renewable grant. Recipients will be announced soon.
Nat Moore Scholarship Endowment
The Nat Moore Scholarship Endowment will provide scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. No restriction is placed on the student's choice of school or discipline of study. The number of scholarships awarded is based on the funding available and the number of quality applications received. The scholarships are primarily distributed directly to colleges over four years, which helps to ensure that the student remains in school. The maximum award amount is $10,000 and will be disbursed in increments of $2,500 per year for four (4) years. Application deadline is February 28 of each year.
Nat Moore Vocational Grant Endowment
The Nat Moore Vocational Grant Endowment will provide grants graduating to seniors from high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. Students must apply to a vocational/trade program in South Florida. The preferred vocational/trade programs are Construction, Hospitality, Information Technology, Public Service, EMT and Fire Rescue. The number of grants awarded is based on the funding available and the number of quality applications received. The grants are primarily distributed directly to the vocational/trade school, which helps to ensure that the student remains in school. The maximum award amount is $3,500 per recipient toward the cost of the entire program. Funds are disbursed as needed to cover the course each term. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Project Change Scholarship
The Miami Dolphins’ Project Change Scholarship will identify one high school student each year and pay for their tuition to college over a four-year period. The goal of the scholarship is to target students to impact their lives, so they can make a change in their community. Application deadline is February 28 of each year.
