Davone Bess: A Hang Loose Lifestyle

Raised in Oakland, California, Davone Bess starred at Skyline High School under the direction of Oakland area coaching legend, John Beam. Bess received a scholarship offer to Oregon State, however a post-graduation arrest led to the loss of his scholarship and more than a year in the Byron Boys Ranch Juvenile Facility. With help from Coach Beam, Bess overcame the odds and ultimately attended the University of Hawaii, where he would set school records with 293 receptions and 41 touchdowns in just three seasons. Despite his success at Hawaii, Bess went undrafted in 2008 and signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent. Bess not only made the team, but finished the regular season with 54 receptions, second most in NFL history for an undrafted rookie wideout. In one of the most powerful Fish Tank episodes to date, Davone candidly shares the details of his arrest after high school, as well as the lessons he learned while incarcerated. He fondly recalls his days with the Miami Dolphins, including barbeques at Paul Soliai's house, and the camaraderie he shared with fellow wide receivers Ted Ginn, Jr. and Greg Camarillo. Davone is also extremely honest and vulnerable as he opens up about his post career struggles with depression.

Caleb Sturgis: A lot of Kicking is Mental

A St. Augustine native, Caleb Sturgis completed his All-American career at the University of Florida as the school's all-time leader in field goals made. The kicker's collegiate success prompted the Miami Dolphins to select him in the fifth round of the 2013 draft and he would spend the next two years in aqua and orange before an unlikely offseason injury derailed his tenure with the team.

Ed Newman: The Warrior Judge

Ed Newman's professional journey has been the stuff of legends. In 12 NFL seasons, all with the Miami Dolphins, Newman was part of a Super Bowl championship team in 1973, blocked for Bob Griese, Larry Csonka, and Dan Marino, was selected to four Pro Bowls and was named a first-team All Pro in 1984 while also attending law school! Jim Jensen: Crash

In 1981, the Miami Dolphins utilized an 11th round draft choice to select quarterback Jim Jensen out of Boston University. Jensen's career as a signal caller was inauspicious at best, but he would quickly become one of the most versatile NFL players of his generation, contributing as a receiver, tight end, running back, full back, and special teams standout. A favorite of Don Shula and Dan Marino, Jensen solidified his place on the Dolphins 50th Season All-Time Team in 2015, and in the hearts of DolFans forever.
